My presentation training clients are typically looking for ways to make their presentations fresher, more engaging and energetic. They may have come to rely on a 'standard' approach - a projector, Powerpoint charts and a script - and need to bring the content of their presentations to life. Often, the charts or crib cards have become crutches, and they lack the confidence to do things differently. But they recognise the need for their audience to look forward to every presentation, and to go away motivated and inspired.

My presentation training course will show you that anyone can be an effective, engaging presenter. I'll demonstrate that you don't need to rely on a set of ticks and techniques. By releasing the story-teller in you, and allowing you to tell stories in the way that you do naturally, you can fit a presentation to your style - and be sure that your style will really get the message across in the most compelling way.

- Environment. What can you do to the environment you present in to ensure it enables you to make an impact?
- First impressions. What kind of first impression do you make? Are you aware of this? How can you use this to your advantage?
- Dispelling anxiety. What are stress and anxiety and how do they affect you? How can you use breathing, meditation and visualisation techniques to help you deal with anxiety?
- Memory. How can you present without the need to rely on aide-memoires? How does your memory work and how you can ensure that your presentation sticks in the memory of your audience members?
- Telling stories. How can you use stories, myths and legends to help structure presentations? What is the importance of beginning, middle and end?
- Using images and props. How can you use images and props to make a point, in a way that is consistent with your story-telling style?
- Engaging the audience. How can you make a presentation more interactive, involving the audience and making them feel part of the experience?
- Fun. How can you ensure that the audience will enjoy the experience?
